Nov 29th meeting- starting our daisy jounerys on feelings

hey everyone,

we had such a great meeting today and the girls decided on alot. They want to make Christmas hats, Christmas ornaments, they want to draw, they want to see Santa, and they are so ready for their awesome journey with the flower girls. The event the girls want to do is breakfast with santa the event is 4.00 per child and 5.00 for adults and kids under 2 are free, we will be spliting the cost of the girls with the troop money so it will only be 2.00 for your daisy to go but if you would like more tickets for other family or kids please let me know. but since this event is closing up very soon i need to have an answer of
1. how many children tickets you want
2. how many adult tickets you would like
3. if your daisy need transportation to the event
4. if you need to drop your daisy off and pick up later

please let me know by tomorrow night and i will collect the money at the next meeting.

this includes all you can get pancake breakfast, a visit from Santa, and a small gift for each child. entertainment will be provide after breakfast

also another event to add to the calendar is Dec11th from 6-8pm Ashanna and taleya birthday party. please let us know if you are able to attend by Friday dec 2nd so that i can reservations for enough girls

Also we will be adding a nursing home to the calendar when we get the dates of when they can have us

Going Nuts for Nuts

We have 2 weeks for nuts sales I put all the information into the kids backpacks, so make sure you collect all the money from your clients and then turn everything in by the 15th meeting. Thanks.

Our First Meeting

The first Meeting went very well, We are so excited to have 12 great daisy scouts in our troop. Thank you everyone that brought supplies it made things so much easier. On the first meeting the girls did their first Girl Scout Agreement board, They Had buddies, they did pictures about their agreement,and we did cool name tags.  Every Parent should have gotten a newsletter but if you did not here is a little of what it said. 

Nov1st-getting to know girl scouts and dues are due

Nov8th-NO meeting(need to discuss how to get nut sales to everyone)

Nov 15th-Girl scout books are due, and bring a plain white t-shirt it can be long sleeve or short sleeve also nut sales forms are due

Nov 19th(Saturday)-Pet shop ( 9:30am 23470 Allen Rd Wood haven, MI 48183)

Nov 22nd-We will be having our thanksgiving Party!

Also sorry about the late notice about nut sales but we have to at least participate  in the event in order to do other fundraisers, so i will try to get the order forms in the girls backpacks by Friday and the money and order forms are due at the 15th meeting and please call me if you have any questions. 

            Also NOTE: ALL GIRLS NEED TO BE REGISTERED ONLINE BY THE NOV 15TH MEETING SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO DO COOKIE SALES IN NOVEMBER IF YOU NEED ME TO REGISTER YOUR CHILD PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL ME THANK YOU 

information meeting

Had a great meeting today, and we got 6 girls signed up. We are some awesome moms that i know are ready to let their daughters take place in the best lifetime adventure We can still take 6 more girls so if you know any girls that would like to join let us know. Also here is some info that was covered at the meeting. Please make sure that you register you girl scout by the next meeting which is Nov 1st at 6:30pm in the art room. Also make sure that you bring back any paper work that you have if you did not turn it in already. 

    2. on the first meeting make sure that your girls bring their dues of 8.00 and if you would like me to get your child a book please include 7.00.but if you would like to get it yourself they have a a store in ann habor and one in Detroit.

    3. I will provide the snack for the first meeting but will have a sign up sheet for parents to sign up for snacks

    4. I will also have a list for parent helpers at the next meeting

    5. please make sure that you register online at girlscout.org

I just want to take the time to welcome all the new Daisy girls and parents to our new troop. I know we got started late in the school year, but better late than never, and I'm very excited  for us to start on a new lifetime adventure with the girls. So lets start on our adventure.
